Local residents and tourists will be able to enjoy tasty food on Beijing Lu in addition to shopping and entertainment in the near future.

According to Yuexiu District officials, East Huifu Road will be linked to Beijing Road and transformed into a pedestrianised street featuring a vast array of food.

The planned food street will comprise Yushan Lu, a 250-metre section of East Huifu Lu between Beijing Lu and Yiyu Lu intersection, and Shufang Street. Yushan Lu will specialize in traditional snacks, East Huifu Lu will offer Southeast Asian food, and Shufang Street will be focused on local culinary culture.

There are currently 45 catering businesses on Yushan and East Huifu Lu, specialising in native snacks, local home-style dishes, and Southeast Asian food. (The End)
