Guangzhou, August 3 - Wang Xinxian, Vice Chairman and President of China Disabled Persons' Federation, President of China Paralympic Committee and Executive President of the Guangzhou Asian Para Games Organising Committee (GAPGOC), toured the Asian Games Town (AGT) and inspected barrier-free facilities for the upcoming Guangzhou Asian Para Games slated for December 12 - 19.

Also in attendance of the event were Deputy Secretary Generals of GAPGOC Zhao Sujing, Chen Guo, Lin Daoping, and Liang Zuoyi.

Mr Wang's visit was to inspect the construction of barrier-free facilities and preparations to welcome the December Games, and provide guidance to build competition venues and citywide disabled friendly facilities in compliance with international standards.

As the Guangzhou Asian Para Games has entered the final prep phase, Guangzhou attaches great importance to the construction of barrier-free facilities and speeds up preparations across the city.

Now Guangzhou is taking this opportunity to expand and upgrade city infrastructure.
