Tickets for the Wheelchair Tennis event at Wimbledon 2010 are now officially on sale.
Wheelchair Tennis, which will take place from July 2 to 4, will feature some of the top names in the Paralympic Sport in Great Britain for the showdown. Competing athletes will be announced in the coming days.
Several thousand ground tickets are available each day for entry to the Grounds. This number may vary depending on the number of people already in the grounds, the number of courts in play and the weather.
At last year's Wimbledon, familiar pair from the Netherlands, Korie Homan and Esther Vergeer took the win in the finals against Daniela Di Toro from Australia and Lucy Shuker from Great Britain. In the Men's Doubles, French pair Stephane Houdet and Michael Jeremiasz took the win against Robin Ammerlaan from the Netherlands and Shingo Kunieda from Japan.
Last year also featured the inaugural event for the Women's Doubles, following the same format that the Men's Doubles has followed since its introduction to the Championships in 2005.(The End)
