Paralympic gold medallist David Weir is fronting a new campaign by the National Lottery to find Britain's biggest Olympic brain.
To celebrate raising more than £500million for the London Olympics in 2012, the National Lottery is launching the ultimate test of Olympic and Paralympic knowledge - the Games Brain of Britain.
It will challenge Olympic and Paralympic buffs and sports fans alike to determine who deserves the title of the UK's expert on the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games Mr Weir, who suffered an agonising double puncture in last month's London Marathon, is fronting the challenge with Olympic Games legend Sir Steve Redgrave MBE and World Champion gymnast Beth Tweddle MBE.
Sir Steve Redgrave, who won gold medals in five consecutive Olympic Games between 1984 and 2000, said: "I hope people the length and breadth of the UK will take up the challenge - it will be fascinating to find out just what a nation of aficionados of the Olympics we are in the run up to the Games."
