The Guangzhou Municipal Price Bureau has notified the city's hotel industry association of the guiding prices for hotel rooms during the upcoming 107th and 108th China Import and Export Fair. The guiding prices for five-star hotels are set as follows: RMB1990 for a standard room, RMB2200 for a deluxe room, and RMB3300 for a business room. The guiding rates for standard rooms, deluxe rooms and business rooms at four-star hotels will be RMB1530, RMB1680 and RMB2200, respectively. The rates for these three types of rooms at three-star hotels will be RMB908, RMB1000 and1460, respectively. And the rates for two-star hotels will be RMB505, RMB555 and RMB830, respectively.

All of the above rates do not include service charges. Hotels operators may set rates for other types of rooms on the basis of the above three types of rooms, but the rates cannot exceed the mandated guiding prices. Hotel operators are allowed to set rates for suites according to demand.

The guiding prices do not apply to platinum five-star hotels.(The End)
