Tee Mall

Grandview mall and Tee mall are the largest shopping malls in Guangzhou. With only 300 metres between them, people at first wondered if there would be enough business and enough customers for all the shops. But China, as always, provided businesses with an unlimited number of consumers, and today these two malls are thriving. A galaxy of stylish apparels, shoes, jewelry, watches, food, furniture, home items, mobile phones and so on attract tens of thousands people everyday.

How easy it is to spend an entire day in this area. The luxurious environment definitely guarantees a relaxing experience and the numerous world famous brands assure you find something to your liking. After buying some new designer jeans and a magnificent evening dress, why not sit down for a Haagen Dazs ice cream or a cappuccino at Starbucks? Need some high-end groceries? Then stop off at Jusco where you'll find everything you need.

After all of that, there are still so many things to discover. Why not take a stroll down the small lanes behind Tianhe Nan Yi Lu, into what is called Liuyun Circle. It's a great place to spend a relaxing evening, with small cafes and restaurants catering to a select crowd. You'll be surrounded by little shops held by young Chinese designers and small booths selling delicious street food.

Guangzhou Book Centre

Finally, north of Tee mall stands the seven-floor Guangzhou Book Centre, offering a wide selection of books. On the top floor of the building, you'll find the largest English bookstore in Guangzhou with all the best-sellers of the year, but also a few hidden treasures...
