Beijing, July 30 - An 18-people delegation of Guangzhou arrived in Beijing on July 28 to report to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China, Ministry of Public Security of China, Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office under the State Council of China and Taiwan Affairs Office under the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China on exit/entry policies concerning the Guangzhou Asian Games and Asian Para Games, discussing the registration and customs clearance procedure of overseas media.

The Guangzhou delegation enters the Ministry of Public Security of China.
Staff of the External Relations & Protocol Department, Games Security Department and Broadcasting & Media Services Department of the Guangzhou Asian Games Organising Committee (GAGOC) took part in the delegation, which was led by Tang Hanghao, Deputy Secretary General of Guangzhou Municipality.
The relevant departments of the central government gave some guidelines on the registration of overseas media and media based in Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, stressing that issuing media registration cards and visas would be vital for the success of Asian Games coverage. They promised to provide full support for media services of the Games in accordance with The Administrative Regulations Governing Foreign Journalists and Resident News Agencies in the People's Republic of China and The 16th Asian Games Host City Contract.
