To greet the summer vacation, Hong Kong Ocean Park has newly launched over 60 new attractions and 40 shows. Matthias Li, Deputy Chief Executive and Chief Financial Officer of Ocean Park Hong Kong came to Guangzhou recently, to promote the Prehistoric Summer Splash 2009 to the locals.

From July 1 to August 31, you can see over 20 "dinosaurs" at the Empire of the Dinosaurs in the park and dive into a hidden dimension from Ice Age 3. Stone Age Water World is designed for visitors to cool off.

"Guangdong is a main market of the Ocean Park," Li told the reporter, "Visitors from Guangdong has occupied about 75% of mainland visitors during the last five years."

Another new themed area – Amazing Asian Animals was revealed, too. Embark on an interactive journey of discovery at the Giant Panda Adventure and Gator Marsh – home to some of Asia's most precious native animals including giant pandas, red pandas, Chinese giant salamanders and Chinese alligators. Admire the spectacular display of goldfish at Goldfish Treasures. Visit the colorful birds and playful Asian small-clawed otters at the Panda Village.
