After negotiations between the Guangzhou Asian Games Organising Committee and the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA), the OCA Executive Board passed a resolution in Singapore on Tuesday to support Guangzhou in hosting the Asian Para Games after the 16^th Asian Games.

According to the resolution, the Guangzhou 2010 Asian Para Games is authorised to use all symbols of the 16^th Asian Games except for the OCA Emblem.
