Finally, Hong Kong's offer by Dr Harry Fang was accepted to host the third FESPIC Games in 1977.

Dr Fang himself was appointed as Vice Chairman of FESPIC.

It was held from October 31 to November 7, in Shatin, Hong Kong and there were 744 participants from 23 nations in 11 Sports.

The FESPIC Games' unique guideline of "a 1/3 Novices" was mentioned for the first time.
