The 2^nd DIBF Word Deaf Basketball Championship was jointly sponsored by the FIBA ,DIBF, CDPF and national sports bureau, and directly sponsored by Guangzhou people's government. International Deaf Olympic committee President Donald, Chinese remnant association party secretary and Chinese deaf sports association President Wang Xinxian, Guangzhou Deputy Mayor Su Zequn attended it and separately gave speech at the opening ceremony. After then, there were more than 5000 people including 300 athletes from 17 countries watched the Chinese disabled people art group's programme such as "Thousand Goddess of Mercy" and so on.
