The 10^th Asian Para Games, to follow the 16^th Asian Games in November next year, will be held in Guangzhou December 12 through 19, 2010.

In order to make the Para Games as successful as the Asian Games, the Guangzhou Asian Games Organising Committee launched the preparatory work and announced, on March 3, solicitations for the emblem and mascot for the 10^th Asian Para Games.

According to Li Zhenliang, Deputy Director of the Games Communication & Promotion Department, any individual or organisation can submit materials for the competition. Each of the first ten winners of the competition can receive an award of RMB 10 thousand and the final winner will be awarded RMB 100 thousand. (The End)
